DEBEL Copyright Infringement Policy

DEBEL ("we", "our", or "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our platform to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or applicable international copyright laws.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied, published, or used on DEBEL in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notice to our Copyright Agent containing the following:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including URLs or other information to help us locate the material;

Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address);

A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

Your physical or electronic signature;

Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled;

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;

Your name, address, and telephone number;

A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original copyright complaint.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
3. Repeat Infringers
DEBEL may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
4. User Responsibility
All users of DEBEL are responsible for ensuring that their content (projects, events, services, videos, documents, posts, etc.) does not violate copyright laws. Users should only upload content they own or have permission to use.
By uploading content to DEBEL, you affirm that:

You own the copyright or have obtained the necessary rights and permissions;

Your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others;

You indemnify DEBEL against any claims or disputes arising from your uploaded content.
5. License and Use of Content
By submitting content to DEBEL, you grant DEBEL a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, promote, and distribute your content within our platform and affiliated services. However, your copyright remains yours.
